Just ;purchased Logitech Optical Mouse. Package states that additional software . Website does not provide.?

Website given in http://www,logitech.com/optical mouse. However, I cannot find the software.

Unless it's a gaming mouse and you need the extra features, I wouldn't worry about it. Just use the OS's default driver.

Additionally, if you can't find it on Logitech's website, it's probably one of their more generic mice, so they may not have created specialized drivers for it when Windows does well enough with default drivers.

Great Product at half the price of Competitors

The Logitech Z-2300 speaker system is the way to go if you want a good amount of bass but nothing too ridiculous. The subwoofer creates clear low end sounds, and the satellite speakers provide clear sound in the mid and upper ends. I can listen to anything from classical music to rap and still enjoy the sound created by these speakers. The setup was easy and it has intuitive controls which just make sense.

After checking the consumer reviews on NUMEROUS PC speaker systems and comparing price/value, i decided on this system and not displeased in any way. The bass is rich and the sound crisp and clear and i'm running it off my laptop at home. Sturdy and well built too. An A plus in my book.

Easy to set up. Great sound quality with a stock sound card. Was a huge improvement over the older system, with better range at higher volume with very little perceived distortion.

Loud. And. Clear. Period.

These things are incredible. They get terribly loud. Like wake the neighbor's-dead-cat-when-the-neighbor's-house-is-a-block-away loud. 

I had a pair of M-Audio AV30s that died from heat exhaustion; apparently studiophiles don't do well as computer speakers, being on all the time in a hot room isn't so good for their power supplies. After limping along with the internal speaker on my Mac Pro for a few weeks, I took a deaf leap, and picked up this set, after reading about its many accolades and awards on every tech blog and website i could find. 

They do not disappoint. The sound remains impeccably clear, even at almost the highest volume, though the volume does seem to plateau at some point. You do get some distortion at the highest volumes, but only if you're in a warehouse throwing a rave party would you need to take them to those levels. The satellites are smallish, while remaining powerful. The Sub is HUGE. There are some user pics on here that do a good job conveying the size of it. It has a huge heatsink on the back, which means i don't have to worry about this system suffering the same fate as my AV-30s. 

The volume is big and easy to locate, the bass knob effective and noticeable, allowing you to dial back the thumping to appease a studious or sleeping roommate without having to crawl among the dustbunnies. That the input goes through the control pod makes wiring both easier and more complicated, its a double edged blade. Some like it, some hate it, i'm indifferent. 

That said, with such a prestigious and powerful system, it would have been nice to have multiple inputs, or at least the capability to receive digital audio via optical/toslink like the bigger sibling, the Z-5500. On that front, Logitech disappoints, but only slightly, not enough to even affect my recommendation. If you need a bad ass set of speakers, or if you just want something that sounds fantastic, this is an excellent choice.

I bought this system to replace an aging 5.1 computer set-up. Being a college student I didn't have room in my dorm for the rear speakers. 
I decided to go with really a good 2.1 computer speaker setup than a decent 5.1. These speakers have exceed my expectations. I really love 
the bass they provide and the satellite speakers reveal so much more detail than my previous system. I've started using my headphones less 
and less for high quality listening. I've also plugged this into my TV a couple times for watching movies. Though these are meant to be 
computer speakers they're more than powerful enough for a small college living room. I have never needed to turn the volume all the way. 
Most of the time I leave it around 25%. The things I didn't like about them is how lightweight the volume control knob is (this means it 
doesn't sit completely flat on my desk), and the connecting cable ends in an 1/8" connection. I know they're meant to connect to a computer 
but my 5.1 Logitech system came with a RCA adapter that made it easy to hook up to a DVD player. I just use a female to female then a 1/8" 
to RCA. I don't feel like making a special cable for it. If you're looking for a really good 2.1 computer system this is it.
